7 Ways to Celebrate the New Year in Nashville

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas with your families this year. As New Year’s Eve rapidly approaches, I know some of you are scrambling for fun ways to celebrate with friends. Here’s a quick list of some exciting ways to say goodbye to 2011 and hello to 2012.

Have a fun, happy, and safe New Year’s!

1. Music City New Year’s Eve Bash on Broadway

This is Nashville’s main event. With music from Lynyrd Skynyrd and Jeffrey Steele, this is the place to be on Saturday night. Top it all off with the dropping of a 15-foot tall music note and an explosion of fireworks and confetti, and you’ve got all sorts of good times going on downtown.

2. New Year’s Country Style at the Opry Backstage Grill

Get your New Year’s grub on at one of the Opry’s newest additions. Enjoy a 4 course meal, champagne toast, and live music from Matt McAtee.

Speaking of live country music, why not start your night off with a trip to the Opry? Jimmy Wayne, Mandy Barnett, and Jett Williams will be on tap for the evening starting at 7 PM.
